Program Overview
Metallic’s Builder School is a three-day program designed to assist Authorized Builders in understanding the ins and outs of Metallic, from the order process to products and services and the many benefits that are part of the Metallic Authorized Builder Program. The course will integrate metal buildings 101 with in-depth presentations of Metallic processes and procedures; product integration and software training by subject matter experts. Day three of this program is dedicated to Optima training and offers two classes to select from – beginner and advanced.
Learning Objectives
After the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of:
- Metallic’s processes and procedures as related to order processing and shipment;
- software available to Authorized Builder and the capabilities of each program;
- product integration opportunities and selling points of each;
- services and benefits available to Authorized Builders.
Who should attend?
Metallic’s Builder School is recommended for new and existing Authorized Builders. Metal building professionals of all levels – particularly new hires – would benefit from this program.
What to expect?
This will be a facilitator-led class with presentations by Metallic leadership and other subject matter experts. Class size will be 20 – 25 participants; Day 1 and 2 will be primarily presentations and day 3 will be for Optima training using laptops. Optima training (day 3) would be most beneficial for new Optima users and individuals responsible for pricing projects using Optima.

A block of rooms has been reserved for Builder School. Reservations must be made no later than October 7; use the code: G-NCI1 to receive the discounted nightly rate. Discount rate is not guaranteed past the reservation deadline. A one-night cancellation fee will be applied by hotel to reservations cancelled after October 7

Registration fee:
Metallic Authorized Builders receive one complimentary registration per year. The fee for additional participants is $295 per person. Registration fee must be paid by October 7. You may pay your registration fee by e-check. (Credit cards are not accepted at this time.) Please make your check payable to Metallic Building Company and attach a copy to the registration form.
Your registration includes:
- All meals that are part of the meeting (World of Hyatt members receive complimentary breakfast)
- Loaner laptops (limited quantities; first come, first served; payment is required to reserve a laptop)
- Transportation to Metallic’s office and plant as necessary
- All course-related literature
