2018 National Builder Meeting Success

Thank you for making Metallic’s 2018 National Builder Meeting a success

A big THANK YOU to everyone who attended Metallic’s 2018 National Builder Meeting in San Diego. We had an all-time high turnout and the feedback received was positive on all fronts. According to our survey, the guest speakers provided useful information, the resort was remarkable and the Awards Dinner entertainer stole the night.

The meeting kicked off with the general session presentation by Metallic’s President, Kent Clauson. Kent’s message centered around Metallic’s commitment to growth and the investments being made in manufacturing, technology and engineering to take the brand to the next level. The theme “The Future is Now,” was the fundamental message carried through all presentations, including the keynote by George Henley. George, a certified professional speaker and experienced general contractor gave a thought-provoking presentation and led the audience through an exercise designed to identify the daily changes that must take place to achieve growth.

In addition to the great speakers, the spotlight was shining brightly on the Design Build contest winners whose projects were shared with the audience throughout the night. The Building of the Year award, which was voted on during the meeting’s Welcome Reception was presented to Hammers Construction -Perham, MN for their project, the West Fargo Hockey Arena. The big winner of the night was Roebuck Buildings Co., which was recognized as Metallic’s 2017 Builder of the Year. Dean Anderson, President of Roebuck Buildings Co., and his team took the stage to accept the award at the closing of the night.

The meeting concluded with a luau-themed farewell beach party on the shore of Mission Bay. There were tiki Gods, bonfires, great food and drinks and guests danced the night away. It was a great closing to an amazing meeting.
